About Lion Camp

Cuisine

Authenticity defines the Lion Camp cuisine.  We believe our African-fusion themes, inspired by African and local ingredients are the base of our lovingly prepared meals.  Creative but simple meals prepared by our local Zambian chefs are delicious.  Our menus are varied and healthy and very dependent on the availability of ingredients.  Menus are therefore changed daily.

We work closely with Thomson Zulu and his family in Mfuwe, who we provide seed and other requirements to grow our vegetables, salads and herbs.  This relationship benefits the Zulu family financially and also ensures that we always have beautifully fresh items for our menus.

Paired daily with great South African Estate wines, fully inclusive in your rates.

Lion Camp offers a sunrise continental breakfast before the departure of the  morning activities and then a full breakfast after you return from your morning activities.

Dining arrangements are your choice – join a table with other guests or be private and romantic, the choice is yours!

Loin Camp offers an off site dinner boma area where we serve dinner under the stars in an informal atmosphere, hosted by our guides.
